"Went in to grab lunch and found out from a very helpful guy at the counter it was bogo sandwich day, so that's what we did (great value). I had the sliced beef sandwich and beans. The BBQ is smokey and cooked well. I enjoyed it and would do it again. Had the pecan pie for dessert and it was good (little on the super sweet side, but still way above average), the portion was huge, sharing is suggested. Great place, I'll be back when down that direction."

"Had the pleasure of eating here today, even met the owner. They recently opened and their bbq is pretty damn good. Their moist brisket is very delicious. Ribs are cooked properly, aren't dry, but.... They could use a sweet honey bbq option... (Rib critic, Mia, agrees.) I wish they had a beef rib option, even the cheap (shiner style). Not sure why tx bbq places rarely have a beef rib, and I don't mean those thick giant beef ribs either lol....anyway, we all tried several things. Pics below."

"A Must-Visit Spot on Our Travels! My husband and I stopped at Wheeler Barbecue while travelling from Scotland and staying at the hotel next door — and what a fantastic surprise it was! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with friendly faces and the mouthwatering smell of smoked meats. The food was absolutely delicious - full of flavour. And you need to try the desserts! Our first time trying a cobbler, and the banana pudding reminded me of something my late mother used to make. The staff were friendly, and showed us true Texan hospitality which made the experience even more enjoyable. So much so, we came back 3 days later for some more. It had a great, laid-back atmosphere — exactly what we needed after a long day of travelling. 100% recommend if you are staying near by, or just driving past. Jody and your team, what can I say. "Can’t wait to go back! I was excited to try this place after my coworker recommended it. We ordered two meat plate with brisket and jalapeno cheddar sausage with macaroni cheese and street corn, quesabirria taco, Mexican Twinkie (not listed on the menu yet) and black berry cobbler. First of all…look at the bark on that brisket!!! It was AMAZING! Juicy, flavorful, tender. Perfect. Jalapeno cheddar sausage was so perfectly cheesy, spicy and juicy. The Mac and cheese was so creamy. The street corn was yummy. The quesabirria taco was my favorite. So good I went and ordered another one! The Mexican Twinkie. OMG. Just an absolute explosion of flavors in each bite. The creaminess of the inside combined with the crunch of the bacon on the outside. Everyone needs to try the Mexican Twinkie! The blackberry cobbler is just incredible. We were absolutely giddy with joy over how delicious it was. Simply put, it’s the best cobbler I’ve ever had. Service was excellent. Every thing was clean. The atmosphere was welcoming, well organized and nicely decorated. Music wasn’t too loud. Our food arrived quickly. Location is easily accessible. There’s a good variety of table sizes to accommodate smaller groups and larger groups. Everyone please go check this place out!!!!"

"The beef ribs, the brisket oh my the brisket.. so good... the banana pudding is heart breaking its so good and ventured out to try the blackberry cobbler... absolutely amazing. The manager Jody, delivered great customer service and followed up to make certain everything was just perfect. Everything you could ask for and then some."

"Absolutely love this place!!!!! My family and I are diehard taco, Tuesday fans and a couple of Tuesdays ago I stopped in to try there taco Tuesday specials ( Quesabirria tacos,) and they were absolutely delicious. In fact I do believe we have found our new taco Tuesday spot. Tonight, my husband and I went back and tried some other things on the menus and they were equally as delicious. Every time we go in there, we are always greeted by a super friendly and knowledgeable staff who have always been patient as I’m trying to mole over the menu. The restaurant is well decorated, smells delicious, bathroom & dining area are clean, the kitchen is open, prices are fair and if you get the specials they are a steal, I just can’t say enough good things about the food. I’ve also noticed flyers up about different events they host that you can sign up to join. They seem to really try to connect with the community. I’m met the owner for the first time a couple weeks ago and he seems to be a wonderful person with a passion for food. We are so happy to have discovered this place. Check it out for yourself you won’t regret it!!!! 5 dining experience! They also do catering!!! So if you have an event coming up pop in, grab a menu & talk with someone. They are happy to help and people will be raving about the food."

"Great customer service at the register. The bus boy was awesome he stopped and answered some questions I had since it was my first time in. Also the only waitress I seen was great, didn't rush any questions and worked with a smile. Overall a great environment, I didn't get a picture of the twinkie but it was awesome (a little on the spicy side be careful). Also pictured is the loaded baked potato that I got which on Thursdays is half priced at $7.50!! Great people and even better food, let's keep them here for the long haul and make sure to stop by at least once or twice a month to show love and appreciation! If you go out to eat frequent go ahead and visit them on their special days. Tuesday-Thursday are my favorite special days what about yours??
